Exciting Events for You at ACC

Beginning Wednesday, March 7th at 6:30 PM, bring your own Ukulele—a soprano 20-inch or a 23-inch "concert" Uke is fine. Some big people prefer the tenor 26-inch or the baritone 30-inch, but the soprano works for just about everybody.

We will play easy songs for Uke including worship songs like "Our God Saves," hymns like "It Is Well with My Soul" and silly kids' songs like "I Like Bananas." Music will be provided, there's no book to buy.

Ukulele is great fun to play.  It's easy to get started, as some chords require only one finger! It is a real instrument and sounds nice when played correctly (which is more than you can say for some "mini" guitars). Ukes play chords or melody lines, and you can sing along with a small group. It is a great first instrument, a gateway to guitar playing.  We'll learn many things about music and worship while having fun with Ukuleles for Jesus.

Ukuleles for Jesus is open to anyone able to hold a ukulele, roughly ages 5 years and up! There is no signup, just show up and have fun worshipping through music.

Maybe singing? Dancing? Unique tricks? Possibly an abundance of weird songs? Could see some amateur musicians? How about some Bob Ross-style painting? Everyone has something unique about them, and we’re looking forward to seeing those talents at Anchor's Got Talent!

Numerous talented people attend Anchor Christian Church. With such an abundance of skilled people, we are very excited to announce this year’s Anchor’s Got Talent show! We want to be entertained by you talented people. Please plan to come out and support your church family on Sunday, March 18th at 6:30 PM.

Easter is coming early this year, and we want you and your kids to join us for "The Messiah Mystery" Easter Hunt. Where does this holiday come from? What's the point? Based on "The Messiah Mystery" study, kids aged 2-5th grade will search for clues to discover why we celebrate Easter.

Kids will be given cluebooks and sent on a search for biblical clues. They will search through themed rooms while also collecting candy and Easter treats. Parents, you are welcome to enjoy a coffee break while your kids search for the clues. We will reunite and all of the clues will be accumulated and broken down as we work together to discover who our Messiah is! Parents and families are welcome to celebrate Easter in an adventure that will take them throughout the Bible! Please RSVP by emailing the church office. In the meantime, mark your calendars for Saturday, March 31st at 10:00 AM.
